In one day the Penguins went from playing a game against the Coyotes that almost looked as if they were still in the preseason to a game against the Flyers that almost matched the intensity of a playoff game. In the game against the Coyotes the Penguins looked flat almost like they expected to be handed a win just for showing up to the game. They must have learned that you need to show to the rink every night because as usual they came to play against the Flyers and never seemed to let the foot off of the gas on offense as they racked up 5 goals as they welcomed Ram Emery to the rivalry. The Pens even got a little help from Braydon Cobourn as he put one in his own net. The score doesn't show it and it rarely ever does but the Penguins played a great game for this early in the season.

There is also no official word as to what happened to Letang at the end of the game but it is being widely speculated the Scotty Hartnell bit his finger during the scrum.
