Therrien Impressed with Pesonen

As the skaters took the ice yesterday Coach Michel Therrien got his first glimpse of the Finnish foward Janne Pesonen and to say the least he was impressed with what he saw. This is not to say that he will be on the opening day roster as of yet or even penciled in on one of the top scoring lines. During practices yesterday he was on the checking line with Taffe and Kennedy. Only time will how Pesonen's skill he showed in the Finnish Elite League where he posted 78 points last season will translate to the NHL.
