The Two-Headed Monster

Malkin and Crosby

As of last night's game Evgeni Malkin(49) and Sidney Crosby(44) are still 1 & 2 in the points lead even though they haven't played since Saturday. Their only competition right now looks to be that guy from the Washington Capitals Alex Ovechikin whom has 42 points up to this point which I would expect considering how much a cherry picking puck hog he is. You may have heard this a thousand times already or not bu the fact is that the last time the feat has been accomplished was by two former Penguins you may have heard of they go by the names of Mario Lemieux(161) and Jaromir Jagr(149) did it in 1995-1996. Of course they did it in a different era in hockey when defense wasn't like it is today and players were able to have multiple point nights on a regular basis.
