The Dog Days of Summer

It's pretty slow in Penguins Nation these days, the only news to be spoken of lately is that of which player is doing what with the Stanley Cup. Recently Captain Sidney Crosby had his day with the cup which turned into a national holiday of sorts in the Penguins world, with as much coverage as it got you would have thought he was the only player whom had the chance to spend the day with the cup.

In other news Evgeni Malkin and Sergei Gonchar were invited to the Russian Olympic camp. Other notables invited are players Alex Ovechkin, Pavel Datsyuk, Ilya Kovalchuk, Alexander Semin, Alexander Frolov and former Penguins Alexei Kovalev, Alexei Morozov and Sergei Zubov.
