Pens Win First Shootout At CEC

At one point in the third period I thought the Penguins defense was getting pointers from the 2009 Steelers defense on how to blow leads with 2 minutes remaining. If this was the first time this happened I would have been like oh well the hockey gods are getting back at them for that questionable goal in the third period, but it wasn't if we go back to early in the week for example when the Pens let the Rangers tie the game up in the final 2 minutes with the goalie pulled. Even though the score doesn't show it, the Pens are contiuing to grow as a complete team minus some minor errors here and there. Sidney Crosby once again proved to everyone why he is the best player in the game when he made a pass through the goal mouth behind the goalie to teamate Tyler Kennedy so he could get the goal.
