The Pens came out on top tonite 2-1 in a shootout with the Bruins with on goal from Evgeni Malkin as the 5th shooter in the shootout. Dany Sabourin had a suberb night stopping 35 of 36 shots the Bruins laid on net. Godard got into another fight again this time with Thorton, God is really starting to payoof he is showing his toughness and willingness to be the enforcer on the ice, unlike one Georges Laraque who didn't want to seem to fight anyone towards the end there.
The Pens got on the board early in this one with Satan netting the first and only goal by the Penguins in regulation at the 18:51 mark of the 1st period. They held this 1-0 lead until 13:53 in the 2nd period when Kessel scored on a Bruins powerplay. The 1-1 tie lasted through the overtime period into the shootout when Geno put one in the net to end the game and give the Pens a well deserved road victory.
