Pens Fail to Capitalize

For the second time this season the Penguins gave up a multiple goal lead in the third period to lose game. This time the Rangers tied the game with 8.1 seconds remaining in regualtion after Crosby missed an empty netter from the neutral zone. Pens goals were scored by Sydor in the 1st period and the second goal by Crosby in the 2nd period. The Rangers got on the board with a powerplay goal from Naslund.

The Pens need to work on this problem they seem to have with closing up shop after the second period when they have the lead and not playing any offense and staying in the defensive zone. Fleury was named the 3rd star of the game.
