No Bounces for the Pens

On a night when both teams came out playing great hockey, the Pens were on the losing end of some wacky bounces. Detroits first goal hit off the end boards and off Fleury before going in and their second goal bounced off Flower's leg as he tried to cover it up. The Red Wings goal was their only legit goal of the night as Justin Abdelkader shot a puck towards Fleury's pads which sent the puck airborne on the rebound and everyone but Abdelkaderwas looking for it when he grabbed it out of the air and put it in. The Penguins only goal came from an Evgeni Malkin shot that bounced to the left of Osgood allowing Ruslan Fedotenko to pounce on the losse puck and backhand it in.

The Penguins had some glorious chances for goals last night like when Malkin setup Satan in front of a wide open net but Miro couldn't keep a handle. A couple other times it appeared the puck was going in but it nipped the crossbar and shot back out.
LET'S GO PENS
