Make Me a Milkshake Malkin

Penguins VS Capitals
3   2

The Penguins did what needed to be done and what we expected them to do at the start of this series and dominate the Capitals on both ends of the ice. Evgeni Malkin even gave all the haters something to talk about with the performance of these playoffs, dominating the Capitals from end to end. You can pretty much say this for the rest of the team as well as the whole team showed up to play last night.

The Penguins celebrate Kris Letang's game winning goal on 5/6

The Pens had goals from Ruslan Fedotenko in the second and the overtime winner from Kris Letang, whom was a game time decision after being sandwhiched by Mike Green in game 2. The Capitals goals came from Ovechkin of a crappy bounce in the first when Fleury lost his stick trying to play the puck, and late in the third when the refs called a phantom interference penalty on Pascal Dupuis giving the Capitals their second Power Play of the night which allowed them to bounce one off the back of Flower and into the net. The teams meet again on Friday night for game 4 and if the Pens can close that one out they will have a big momentum swing going into game 5 on Saturday.

LET'S GO PENS
