He’s Seeing Beach Balls Out There

They came, they saw, and the conquered. After a piss poor performance the night before in Pittsburgh against the Flyers the boys hit the ice and played 3 complete periods of hockey. The Pens were without two key players for most if not all of the game Malkin came out for the pregame skate but did not play and Kris Letang left the game early after battling a wrist injury when he was on the ice. Not only was Brent Johnson phenomenal in net, but the team played one of their best games in front of him after they held one of the all to familiar closed door meetings the night before. The only questions I have coming out of this game is what is the extent of the injuries to Malkin and Letang and how long can Johnson keep up this hot streak because history is not in his corner as being the go to guy in net.
