Game Day Penguins vs Thrashers 12/18/08

Wow it seems like it has been an eternity since the last Penguins gameday well only 4 days but who's counting. The Pens are coming off a couple days of rest and practice which was scarce during the 7 games in 10 stretch the team pulled at the begining of December which they came out of with a dismal 2-4-1 record with their worst loss coming at the hands of the Flyers on Saturday afternoon. The Penguins are looking to stop their losing ways tonight when they take on the Thrashers in Hotlanta @ 7:00pm, the team will be getting a boost for tonight's game as top goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury returns to action after missing several games with an injury. Also joining the team tonight from the Baby Pens will be Jeff Taffe and Ryan Stone who as Mark Madden puts it has pulled a stool up at "The Last Chance Saloon", so let's see what you can do and while we are on the topic of call ups when are we going to see what Janne Pesonen can actually do instead of watching him try not to mess up, why don't you give the guy a chance everytime he is up he get like 3 minutes of ice time in the game he's a scorer you didn't coax him out of the Finnish Elite League to play in the AHL the whole year.
