Sid does what Sid does last night and put the team on his back and carried them to victory by scoring the teams only 2 goals in the third period to tie the game up at 2, after Florida got an early lead in the 1st, and then after the game went to a shootout it was Sidney Crosby that netted the winner as the second shooter for the Pens. This would give Brent Johnson his first win in a Penguins uniform as the starting goaltender, and the first win for the Pens without Gonch this season.
With Sergei Gonchar out, Martin Skoula stepped into his place and played rather well for his first game this season. He had a bad interference penalty called on him early in the game but was able to bounce back and have a solid game defensively. He ended the game with a +1 and a shot on goal to go along with his 2 penalty minutes.
