Boucher Hangs Up the Skates

According to TSN and the Post-Gazette Penguins free agent defenseman Philippe Boucher has decided to retire from the NHL after playing 17 seasons. Boucher was acquired by the Pens early last season from the Dallas Stars for Darryl Sydor. Boucher has had limited playing time in the past few seasons due to injury which most likely helped him make this decision.
