And the Skid Continues

The Penguins current losing streak has hit 4 games after a loss last night at Mellon against the New Jersey Devils. I can't speak for the first period and a half, but from what I saw the Devils looked to have the upper hand in the game even when it was tied up at 1 a piece in the second. The Pens had a chance to tie things up with a power play to start the third period, but after opening with about 30 seconds in the Devils zone they were unable to regain the zone and capitalize. After the game Sidney Crosby held a closed door meeting, and from what I heard from sources was that they can not allow these injuries to become excuses for their play and they need to step up. The Penguins next take on the Bruins Saturday night at 7:30pm.

 

I must have missed this but apparently someone dropped an F-Bomb on live TV last night, word is that it was Chris Kunitz I will be sure to post a video when I come across it.
